How was your lesson?

As you know, this is the second time we have attended the Island Golf School. We took the five-day class two years ago and since then we both dropped eight points from our handicaps. We were at the point where we weren't improving anymore so tried the three-day school this year. We could
see a change in our swing in one day.

We are hoping to see another eight-point drop in our handicaps again - well five points anyway. We'll keep you posted. Brett is a great instructor - VERY patient. It was a beautiful week.

I was visiting with my family and we traveled all the way from Red Lion, Pa to Hilton Head. I registered for the full-day school at Golden Bear with Bryan. Bryan was very welcoming, energetic, and positive. I get the
impression that he understands that each individual needs to be instructed appropriately and he did a great job.

The video analysis is extremely helpful because it broke down the major points of my swing and showed a comparison to several tour professionals such as Tiger for a more distinct comparison/analysis. I wouldn't recommend taking a lesson unless it included video analysis. I am glad there was a form to complete before hand so the students could list a few of their goals or things to accomplish
during the school. This was most helpful because Bryan used this information to cater to our individual needs. You guys do a nice job and Golden Bear is a fantastic course. I only wished I lived closer.

I had a GREAT time at the school. Brett Toon was awesome to work with!! He taught me alot and was a hoot be play golf with. I'll be recommending the school to people I know that are going to the island. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I found the Island Golf School to be really helpful. My husband and I took the class together and we find ourselves reminding each other of the different techniques we had learned. So, I'm glad we took the class together. Just wish I had taken notes since it was a lot to remember,
notes would have been helpful to take home with us.

I wish I would have taken the course in early spring so I could practice the techniques throughout the summer. Since
I took the course in late fall, I will now have to remember everything until this Ohio weather gets back to spring.

The overall experience of the Island Golf School was amazing and totally worth the price.

I just wanted to share with you how much my boys enjoyed their two days at the golf academy. They had an absolutely wonderful experience. The young man who served as their instructor (Ryan, I believe) did an outstanding job
of teaching them a great deal while making it comfortable and fun! They can't wait to come back next year. You were also great to work with when I set up the academy for the boys; your prompt email follow-up even provided perfect directions from our condo to the course.

All in all, it was a great experience...thanks again, and we'll see you next year!

I've been meaning to email and send my highest compliments to the Island Golf School.

As a complete beginner, I was nervous that the instruction would be too technical or overwhelming, but the opposite was true. Brian was a *fantastic* teacher--knowledgeable,
patient, encouraging, with just the right amount of humor thrown in to keep it fun. As a beginning lady golfer, Brian was also wonderful about teaching me key golf etiquette and rules of the game, which has given me the confidence to go out and play courses in our
area. I want to come back and bring girlfriends with me for a "girls golf school" weekend!

I would also recommend the Island Golf School to couples. Brian was able to adeptly combine teaching Stan, my fiance who is an advanced avid golfer, with teaching me the
basics. He provided us both critical personalized attention that was tailored to our respective needs--the Island Golf School's low teacher to student ratio really made this possible. Stan and I had such a fun, relaxing time learning and playing golf together--we are talking about making it a bi-annual get-away!
